Empowering people to protect what matters most and create peace of mind with thoughtful planning.

OUR MISSION

There is a simple principle that guides all that I do: take care of those you love and those who love you. It is the reason I get up in the morning, the reason I became a lawyer, and the reason I started my own estate planning practice. I try my best, every single day, to live my life in accordance with this principle, and to emphasize the importance of this principle with my family, friends, clients, and colleagues.

As an estate planning attorney, I believe in empowering families to protect what matters most and create peace of mind with thoughtful planning. I work, primarily, with families and individuals who do not have estate tax concerns. My goal is to help my clients achieve some peace of mind and a sense of control over their destiny and their legacy. I do this by taking the time to listen to their unique circumstances, and by educating them about their options and helping them create a plan that's tailored to their specific situation.

I am a former litigator, and I have handled a variety of civil litigation cases on both sides, as plaintiff and defendant. I have seen the impact that years of litigation can have on people, families and businesses, and some of the biggest disputes are fights over blood money. My litigation experience has led me to conclude that the courthouse is not the ideal place to sort out an estate plan, and my goal is to help my clients craft a plan that can be carried out without court involvement.

Personalized estate planning for your present and future.

A critical part of estate planning is deciding who will help make your health care and financial decisions if (or when) you are no longer able to make those decisions for yourself. This is often an overlooked part of estate planning, and failing to have an incapacity plan in place can have a major impact on your family and loved ones.

Who will help you take care of things when you cannot do it yourself?

Making a plan for what happens with everything you own when you pass away can be difficult to work through. It is uncomfortable to think about, and the law in this area is complex and can be confusing. We will help you understand your options and will customize your estate plan to fit your specific needs and goals.

Who do you want to provide for when you are gone, and in what ways?
